Ventura County Housing Market Cooling?

The Ventura County Star reported today that the counties housing marketing is cooling slightly. The article reported growth dropping below 20% for the first time in over a year, according to numbers in January of 2005. I have a good feeling that when the March numbers come out, we'll be back over 20%. Just in the past couple of weeks we've seen single family homes flying off the market. We are seeing close to asking price, if not full price, and shorter marketing times. All of this adds up to short inventories of single family homes. This usually results in increasing prices.
