Forclosure Activity in California declined in the second quarter of this year, according to the California Association of Realtors. The number of mortgage default notices declined 14.4% from the first quarter of this year. 12,408 homeowners received notices between April 1 and June 30, a decline of .9 percent when compared to the same period one year ago.

So, it seems there's no doom and gloom brewing here.
