Probably Worth Repeating

"The ache for home lives in all of us, the safe place where we can go as we are and not be questioned."-Maya Angelou

There's so much media coverage on the collapsing housing market, it's hard to avoid feeling a bit of angst over a possible purchase. However, it's important to remember the real reasons that we buy home. Changes in our family status like marriage, the birth of a new baby, divorce, and death are all cause for buying or selling a home. Also, things like a promotion, or job transfer can also trigger the sale or purchase of a new home. It's tough to time these changes, and it's likely that alot of individuals find themselves wanting or needing to buy or sell during down times in the real estate market. The purchase of real estate is not always spurred on by a need to invest and make money. We have emotional needs to provide a safe place for our families, a place to build memories, a place to call home.
