Today's Ventura County Star (on page D1) has an article about Mobile Homes (or Manufactured Homes as they are now being called) being an alternative to the traditional "stick-built" single-family home that is out of most people's price range. According to today's paper the median price in Ventura for an existing home is $707,690. Mobile Homes - even brand new - are only going for $200,000 to $300,000 in Ventura County unless they are right by the beach! So - why not look at the affordable alternative - mobile homes?
